The beauty and charm of the Sleeping Venus attracted our eyes and could  not move away from it.
The fantastic landscape in the background added wonderful effects to this masterpiece.

It was said that  Titian added the landscape and a putto to Giorgione's painting (the young Titian had completed after Giorgione's death), and indeed  it has been confirmed by x-rays.

The position of the sleeping Venus was to become the characterictic position of Titan's Venus.
